BSF Tradesman Recruitment 2025: Important Instructions for applying for this post
This recruitment is being conducted by BSF for the session 2024-25. Before applying online, the candidate must ensure that they are eligible for the educational certificate, trade experience certificate, age, physical standards, and physical efficiency test. In this recruitment, only BSF has the right to reject the form of any candidate at any selection level. In this recruitment, different posts have been determined trade wise. The candidate has to apply for only one post. Otherwise his form will be rejected. The final selection of the candidate will be done on the basis of merit only. Candidates should fill the form based on their home town and state so that they get the examination center near them. During one-time registration, the candidate will receive a registration ID and password, which will be used to fill out all the BSF forms.

Age limit
- The candidate must be between 18 and 25 years of age before the last date of applying online.
- Reservation has been fixed for SC, ST, OBC and other special category candidates.
- This reservation will be given through the instructions of the Central Government of India.
- For Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribal Caste, relaxation of up to 5 years will be provided in the upper age limit,
- While for Other Backward Classes, this time limit has been fixed at 3 years.
- Candidate should check that he is entering the same Date of Birth as given in his Secondary Examination Certificate.
BSF Tradesman Salary
- Border Security Force in the pay Matrix Level-3, Pay scale Rs.21,700-69,100/- of 7th CPC (Revised Pay Structure) and other allowances as admissible to Central Govt. employees from time to time.
Education Qualification
- For carpenter, plumber, painter, electrician, pump operator etc., the candidate must have passed 10th from a recognized board.
- Along with this, a 2-year certificate in the relevant grade is also mandatory.
- Whereas in any other trade, the candidate only needs to pass 10th standard and no certificate is required for them.
- For a career in cooking and water, it is mandatory to pass the 10th standard, along with the National Skill Qualification Framework and a kitchen-related course.
Selection Process
- First Phase – PST & PET test – In the first page of this recruitment, Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Standard Test will be conducted at the examination center selected by the candidate. The date of these tests will be informed to the candidate through email or SMS. If the candidate fails to qualify in this test then he/she will not be allowed to participate in the further stages
- Second Phase Written Exam – The candidates who qualify in the first page will be called for the written exam. This written exam will be a computer based exam in which there will be only one paper which will be of 2 hours. Candidates will also be informed about the exam through email. Tenth standard questions will be asked in this exam
- 3rd Phase Documentation – At the time of document verification, the candidate has to bring all the original and photocopy documents with him. Date of birth, name etc. should be same in all the documents. If any wrong information is found in the documents of any candidate, then the candidate will be excluded from this recruitment process.

How to Apply online for RRB Paramedical Recruitment 2025
- This recruitment is not being conducted for the physically handicapped category.
- Before applying online for this recruitment, the candidate will have to do a one-time registration through which he will receive a registration ID and password.
- Through this ID and password, you have to login to the BSF online application portal.
- As soon as you log in, an application form will open in front of you in which all the information has to be filled carefully.
- Only the form applied online by the applicant will be valid. Any form submitted through post will not be accepted
- In this application form, the candidate has to upload his education certificate, caste certificate, trade related certificate. This certificate can be uploaded only in PDF format.
- The candidate has to upload his signature and photo very clearly. If the candidate uploads unclear signature and photo then the form will be rejected.
- The candidate will get the option of net banking, credit card and debit card here to pay the fee online. You can deposit the fee through any medium.
- Candidates have to choose the exam center carefully. Choose the exam center located in the respective state. Finally, you have to check your form and submit it finally and take a printout of this form and keep it with you.
- Keep the registration ID, password and email ID active because all types of messages related to this recruitment will be received through email only.
