OICL Assistant Recruitment 2025 Notification PDF for 500 Grade 3 Vacancy

Oriental Insurance Company Limited has issued a notification today, August 1, 2025, in which applications have been invited for the recruitment of 500 Assistants. Information related to this recruitment such as form filling date, last date of form, examination date, application process, salary, education qualification, selection process etc. will be told to you in this paragraph. Candidates have to apply online only. Applications made through any other means will not be accepted.

OICL Assistant Recruitment 2025 Apply Online date & Exam Date

Detailed notification has been issued by OICL. Registration for OICL Assistant has started from 2nd August. You can apply online by visiting the official website of OICL from 2nd August 2025 and the last date to apply is 17th August 2025. The exam date is also given in the notification. The prelims exam of OICL Assistant will be held on 7 September 2025 while the mains exam has been scheduled for 28 October 2025. OICL Assistant call letters will be uploaded on the website 7 days before the Prelims exam. Post Details

Age limit

• The age of the candidate applying by 31 July 2025 should be between 21 to 30 years. This means that only the candidate who was born after 31 July 2004 and not before 31 July 1995 is eligible to apply.
• Apart from this, according to the notification, Scheduled Castes and Tribes have been given a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit. Whereas Other Backward Classes have been given a relaxation of 3 years.
• Under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016, they have been given age relaxation of 10 years.
• There is a relaxation of 5 years for widows, divorced women and women who are legally separated from their husbands and those who are current employees of OICL company are given a relaxation of 5 years.

Salary

• Rs. 40000 per month.

Education Qualification

• At the time of applying, the applicant must have a graduation degree in any subject from any recognized university or any equivalent qualification. Candidate must have passed SSC/Intermediate/Graduation level with English as one of the subjects.
• The candidate must have a certificate of passing the qualifying examination dated 31 July 2025. Knowledge of reading, writing and speaking the regional language of the state from which the applicant wishes to apply is required.
• Because a language test will be conducted before the final selection the candidate will be disqualified if he is not found proficient in this test

Selection Process

• The selection process in OICL Assistant will be done on the basis of marks obtained in preliminary and main examination.
• The applicant will first have to appear in the preliminary examination. This exam will be conducted for 100 marks and you will get 1 hour time for it.
• Candidates who pass the prelims exam will get a chance to appear in the main exam. The main examination will be conducted for 250 marks and the duration of which will be 2 hours.
• It will be mandatory for every candidate to score minimum marks in the prelims examination.
• Regional language test will be conducted before final selection, no marks have been prescribed for it but it will be mandatory to qualify it. Finally merit list will be released on the basis of which final selection will be done.

Pre Exam Training

If you are giving OICL Assistant exam for the first time then online training will be given before the exam, details of which you can give while applying online that we want to avail the benefit of pre-exam training. For more information, the candidate will have to visit the official website of Oriental Insurance Company. If any candidate opts for online training, he/she will be informed through registered email ID/SMS that online training has been scheduled on this date.

How to Apply online for OICL Assistant Recruitment 2025

• Before applying online, the candidate has to read the notification carefully. You have to check all the information given in the notification that if you are going to apply for this form, you are eligible in terms of education qualification, age limit etc.
• The first step to apply will be to register for the application, after that fee will have to be paid, after that all the process will include photograph, signature, thumb impression, scanning and uploading of handwritten declaration etc.
• Candidates will have to go to the career section on the company’s website and click on ‘Apply Online’, which will open a new screen in front of you.
• Here you have to click for new registration, where you have to enter your name, contact details, email ID, mobile number etc.
• A registration number and password will be generated by the system, based on which you have to login.
• If the applicant is not able to complete the form in one go then you will get the option of Save and Next. If you click on it, you can save the data anytime.
• You will have to pay the fee online only.
• You can do this using any of the debit cards, credit cards, internet banking, mobile wallet etc.
• The photo and signature will have to be uploaded in the size specified in the notification, otherwise the photo will not be uploaded.
